If you plan on attending an NHRA Championship Drag Racing national event, please take a moment and visit these excellent merchandise venues that sell Total Impact Wear products.
This was our 3rd year attending the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals as guests of customer BIG DADDY Don Garlits and his Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing, Ocala FL. It was also the 50th annual NHRA Gatornationals and the event was packed to the gills. Prior to the event, Total Impact Wear supplied the official tee ‘GLORY’ for the 29th annual International Drag Racing Hall of Fame (HOF) awards hosted by the legendary BIG DADDY Don Garlits. Everybody who is anybody in the sport of professional drag racing attends this prestigious event and our event tee ‘GLORY’ was a huge hit.
Each year we make it a pilgrimage to drop by George’s BBQ, which is close to the University of Florida campus in Gainesville FL. It’s a small obscure building tucked away off the road and has the best BBQ in Florida. George really knows his craft. Succulent, juicy and the meat drops right off the bone. We’re hungry just thinking about it. And we always drop in to see our friends at the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing, which is truly the Mecca of drag racing. BIG DADDY has an incredible collection of historical dragsters and classic cars. It’s a must see for all drag racing fans and auto enthusiasts.
What can you say…it’s Vegas. Always something over-the-top cool to see and hear including 11,000+ nitro hp. Wakes you up and clears the cobwebs from the previous nights festivities…Ha! We like Vegas because there’s plenty to do and the ‘The Strip’ is a state-of-the-art drag racing facility. Icing on the cake is, it’s one of the easiest NHRA Championship Drag Racing national event tracks to get in & out of with minimal traffic congestion. While at the track you can sometimes get a second show for free courtesy of next door neighbor Nellis Air Force Base, which is home to many of the nations most sophisticated hi-tech warbirds. Once we saw the magnificent Lockheed SR-71 ‘Blackbird’ land with 4 jet fighter escorts. Doesn’t get much better when you include NHRA Championship Drag Racing. Usually sunny & warm too. Gotta Love It!
